We issued a press call to attend the official opening of the BAUHAUS centre in Marratxí, which the island authorities also attended. BAUHAUS CEO, Bart Ginneberge, was in change of welcoming attendees and explaining certain aspects of building the largest centre on the island exclusively for home improvement.

Deputy Mayor of Marraxti, Xisco Ferrà and the General Director of Economy and Statistics of the Balearic Government, Juana Ana Perelló, officially opened the new centre, but not without first thanking Bauhaus for choosing the city.

After the opening words of welcome, the authorities and press enjoyed an exclusive guided visit around the new centre to see it prior to its opening to the public, and to find out about its distribution, products, and a few key details on the unique building.

It did not take long to circulate in the press; over 25 media outlets talked about the opening and explained the centre in detail. They also announced that it would open to the public the following day and that the first to arrive would receive fantastic prizes, creating a great sense of anticipation and ensuring a large crowd.
