Olympus asked us to design their stand at the SONIMAG trade fair, the professional photography fair that took place in Barcelona. It was the first time that Olympus had been at this fair, which was visited by over 275,000 people.

We designed an original stand with a striking use of colour for the occasion, based on the company’s star product, the unique new E-System camera; a line of bodies and lenses that are part of a new concept designed exclusively for using in digital environments. We proposed installing a replica of Schumacher’s Ferrari at the stand. This really caught everyone’s attention and all those attending the fair wanted to come by the stand to have their photo taken with the Formula 1 car.

A special feature was the design and construction of some exclusive supports for the firm that showed the cameras in an original and intriguing way, lifting them by the base so they seemed to be hanging in thin air, achieving a powerful aesthetic result.

By the end of the fair Olympus had achieved its goal of having a stand that everyone was talking about.
